The Jordan Sterling Foundation’s Initial Project

For the foundation’s initial project, it will be partnering with the Heart and Lung Institute at St. Joseph’s Medical Center and Hospital to establish a two year fellowship program whose purpose and goal is to provide advanced training in lung transplantation science and produce academic leaders in cardiopulmonary transplant medicine. Graduates of the program will satisfy requirements for United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) certification to become transplant pulmonologists and medical directors of transplant programs across the United States.
